Through "I Dig Trees" initiative led by The Conservation Volunteers (TVC), our Trust received 500 free whips (January 2025) to restore 520 metres of the ancient woodland boundaries with Granny Stiles' Path, and Toll Lane ("The Toll"). We chose 'hedging' packs for berries, pollenators, nectar and nuts (and their leaves for the munchers and suckers).
The TCV "I Dig for Trees" mission - "we're teaming up with community groups all over the UK to create biodiverse pocket forests across the land for climate, wildlife & our communities!"

Lynsted with Kingsdown Society hosts and promotes activities, presentations and research of interest across the Parish of Lynsted with Kingsdown and nearby. In 2024, they led a fungus foray into Toll Wood.
